From the available USGS earthquake data we can clearly see that something significant happened right before with the “big” quake on 01/07/2020 at 04:24:26 AST. These are my very own observations, I highlighted the “big one” to stress its triggering effect in the overall sequence of events.
The magnitudes started to increase at the same depth and then it happened. The magnitude of the quakes increased and the depth at which they took place stabilized right around 10 Km.
What is the significance of this data? I don’t know but someone out there with an advance geology degree might help to explain the significance of this.
